“Even if we compete in all the seats we previously contested, it wouldn't be an issue, as that was the case before,” he told reporters after officiating the closing ceremony of the MADANI Adopted Village (Kampung Angkat MADANI) programme at Arena Ara Permai Open Hall, Kampung Sungai Putat, here today.

Adam Adli, who is also the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, added that political competition leading up to the Melaka state election should not, however, compromise the relationships and harmony among the state's community.

He noted that throughout the more than three years since the formation of the Unity Government in Melaka, PH assemblymen have extended good cooperation to the state government.

“We want the people—especially the voters—not to view the election arena as a source of division.

"When we enter the election, we will indeed clash, fight, and compete, but this should not affect relationships or harmony within the state of Melaka,” he said.

Commenting on PH's approach to the election, Adam Adli said the party aims to champion a brand of politics that appeals more to the public, moving away from outdated sentiments that portray certain parties as incapable of cooperation or unable to represent the interests of the community as a whole.

Adam Adli stated that what matters most in the political contest is ensuring the people continue to benefit, while leaving it to the electorate to make their choice in the upcoming state election.

“Ultimately, it is up to the people to make their choice, and we are ready to face the upcoming state election with renewed spirit,” he said.
