MetMalaysia Issues Tropical Storm Warning

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) has issued a Tropical Storm Advice (NARRA) moving northeastward at a speed of 19 kilometers per hour (km/h) at a distance of approximately 1,691 km northwest of Kudat, Sabah.
According to METMalaysia, the storm recorded a maximum wind speed of 65 km/h, but it has not had a significant impact on Malaysia thus far.
The department stated that the current position of the tropical storm as of 8:00 pm last night was at latitude 20.0 North and longitude 108.9 East, approximately 39 km northwest of Sandu, China.
