Worshippers At Kuala Klawang Mosque Must Repeat Zuhur Prayer - Mufti
SEREMBAN, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- Worshippers who performed the Zuhur prayer at Masjid Jamek Kuala Klawang in Jelebu on Oct 30 must perform it again as a replacement (qada’), as the original prayer was invalid, said Negeri Sembilan Mufti Datuk Dr Faudzinaim Badaruddin.
He said the requirement followed a decision by the Negeri Sembilan Fatwa Committee, which deliberated on the failure to hold Friday prayers at the mosque on that date.
“Muslims in the state are advised always to uphold the obligation of Friday prayers and not take lightly matters prescribed by Islamic law.
“Muslims should prioritise their religious duties and set aside differences when attending mosques and surau,” he said in a statement here today.
Faudzinaim said those responsible for managing mosques and surau must fulfil their duties with the utmost integrity to ensure Islamic values and practices are upheld.
