N9 Polls: Fair Weather In The Morning On Polling Day, Rain And Thunderstorms In The Evening
SEREMBAN, July 31 (Bernama) -- The weather in almost all of Negeri Sembilan is expected to be clear in the morning of the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election voting day, tomorrow.
Based on the forecast by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), most areas in the seven districts, namely Seremban, Jempol, Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, Tampin, Port Dickson and Rembau, are expected to be sunny from morning to noon.
However, in the afternoon, most areas in the state are expected to experience heavy rain and thunderstorms.
A total of 401 polling stations will be open simultaneously from 8 am to 6 pm tomorrow, involving schools, community halls and colleges.
Tomorrow, a total of 867,151 ordinary voters will choose their elected representatives from among 103 candidates contesting for 36 state seats.
Pakatan Harapan (PH) is contesting all 36 state seats, followed by Barisan Nasional (BN) (25), Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) (24), Perikatan Nasional (PN) (11) and four Independent candidates, while Barisan Jemaah Islamiah Semalaysia (Berjasa), Parti Orang Asli Malaysia (ASLI) and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) are each fielding one candidate.
